This wonderful hinged lugged officer’s watch is a classic example of a rare piece that is ideal for investment purchase.
Oversize authentic open face antique watch with new genuine brown band and 925 silver buckle. Case: Beautiful solid silver case by the Dennison Pocket Watch Case Company - fully hallmarked to each piece for London – letter O -1829. Measures 49 mm in diameter (excluding crown). Cases in good condition after carefully hand polishing. All covers opening and closes in perfect with good click. Case nbr: 693613 Movement: Swiss high grade original movement with bimetallic compensated balance and blued steel overcoiled hairspring. Movement in mint condition, fully serviced. It is running well, sets and runs perfect and keeps good time. Winding perfect and has about 40 hours power reserve. Dial: White porcelain mint dial with blue hands. Hour marks are black Roman numerals. Mineral glass – new old stock. New vintage genuine leather watch strap – 24 mm, with sterling silver buckles. Fastenings of bund and buckle are used standard removable watch pins. Buckle and roller solid 925 silver. |
